The Genocide Archive of Rwanda team is composed of members that have experience in the fields of archiving and preservation. They have also attended numerous training sessions locally and abroad to further develop their skills.

• Partnerships with experienced reputable international organisations in the field of archiving: The Genocide Archive of Rwanda sends staff on study and training visits abroad to master their skills in specific work fields that are still emerging in Rwanda.
• Team building retreats that support staff to manage individual challenges while working on genocide memory preservation related activities.
• Knowledge transfer: the Genocide Archive of Rwanda invests in building archive and preservation skills locally by providing trainings and internship opportunities to other staff from partner organisations and students.
