Description (English): When the multiparty system was introduced in Rwanda in 1991, many newspapers started. Some were affiliated with rising political parties and others with the AKAZU Presidential Party. Umurangi was published by the MDR Parmehutu, which was originally an opposition party. Later, it started to spread divisionist messages according to the MDR Power, a MRND satellite similar to the CDR!
