Description (English): L’Emancipation Jijuka, launched in 1994, is a comparatively newer publication than many of the newspapers founded at the advent of the multi-party system in Rwanda. The goal of l'Emancipation Jijuka's editors was to speak for the people whom they felt were ignored. L'Emancipation Jijuka issue 1 (20 pages) features the following stories:
- For when is the open broad-based transitional?
-this got Rwandans exhausted and they are still tired of it.
-it getting is complicated because of the cheatings in the PL and M.D.R.
-They want war in the capital, what is happening to the political party for the people?
-in Burundi some Tutsis are still ignorant.
-the departure of Mugenzu would have hurt many people!
